While it retains its historical name, it currently operates as a significant campus within Lewisham Southwark College, which itself is part of NCG (Northern College Group), one of the largest further education providers in the United Kingdom.
History Lewisham College was established in 1990 through the merger of two existing institutions: South East London College and Lewisham Way College. From its inception, it played a crucial role in providing post-16 education and training to residents of Lewisham and surrounding areas. In 2012, Lewisham College merged with Southwark College to form Lewisham Southwark College.
