Lew Elder was a Canadian football player who played as a halfback in the 1920s. He is best known for his time with the Toronto Argonauts of the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union (IRFU), a predecessor to the Canadian Football League (CFL). Elder was a key member of the Argonauts team that won the 15th Grey Cup championship in 1927, defeating the Hamilton Tigers.
