Lesetja Kganyago

Lesetja Kganyago (born 1965) is a South African economist who has served as the Governor of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) since 9 November 2014. In this capacity, he is the chief executive officer of the country’s central bank and is responsible for formulating and implementing monetary policy, overseeing financial stability, and representing South Africa in international monetary forums.
