Leonard William "Len" Cunningham (27 October 1930 – 11 February 2019) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Fitzroy Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) from 1951 to 1959.
Early Life and Career
Born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, Cunningham developed his football skills before joining the Fitzroy Football Club. He made his VFL debut in 1951, showcasing his talent from an early stage.VFL Career
Cunningham quickly established himself as a key player for Fitzroy, known for his versatility and strong performance in multiple positions. He primarily played as a ruckman and full-forward, distinguishing himself with his strong marking, accurate kicking for goal, and ability to impact contests across the field.Over his nine-season career with Fitzroy, Cunningham played 117 VFL games and kicked a total of 206 goals. He was the club's leading goalkicker on three separate occasions:

- 1954 (32 goals)
- 1957 (39 goals)
A notable moment in his career was playing in the 1951 semi-final against Essendon during his debut season, although Fitzroy ultimately lost the match. Cunningham retired from VFL football at the conclusion of the 1959 season.
