Leif Strömberg (born 19 March 1950) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player and coach. He is widely recognized for his extensive and successful career in Swedish ice hockey, both as a defenseman during a dominant era for Brynäs IF and later as a highly regarded head coach who led teams to championships.
Playing Career
Strömberg began his playing career as a defenseman and spent the majority of it with [[Brynäs IF]] in the [[Swedish Hockey League]] (then Elitserien). He was an integral part of the Brynäs teams that dominated Swedish ice hockey in the 1970s, winning four Swedish championships in 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1980. He also played for [[Västra Frölunda IF]] for a period before returning to Brynäs IF to conclude his playing career.Coaching Career
Following his retirement as a player, Strömberg embarked on a successful coaching career. He has coached numerous high-profile clubs in Sweden, leading them to various achievements.
