Lee Kwang-soo

Lee Kwang-soo (born July 14, 1985) is a South Korean actor, entertainer, and model. He is widely recognized for his work in television and film, as well as his decade-long tenure as a regular cast member on the South Korean variety show Running Man.

Lee began his career in the entertainment industry as a model in 2007. He made his acting debut in the 2008 sitcom Here He Comes, followed by a role in the popular sitcom High Kick Through the Roof (2009). His prominence increased significantly after joining the original cast of the SBS variety show Running Man in 2010. During his time on the program, which lasted until 2021, he earned international popularity, particularly in Asia, leading to the nickname "Prince of Asia."

In addition to his career in variety television, Lee has maintained a consistent acting career in both film and television dramas. His notable television credits include It's Okay, That's Love (2014), The Sound of Your Heart (2016), and Live (2018). His filmography includes diverse roles in titles such as Confession (2014), Collective Invention (2015), Inseparable Bros (2019), and Sinkhole (2021).

Lee has received several accolades for his performances, including the Best Supporting Actor award at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in Inseparable Bros. His acting is often noted for its range, encompassing both comedic and serious dramatic roles.

In May 2021, Lee's agency announced his departure from Running Man to focus on his physical recovery following an injury sustained in a car accident the previous year. He has since continued his career through various film projects and streaming platform series.
