Le Click

Le Click is a German Eurodance project active primarily in the mid to late 1990s. The group was founded by producer Frank Fenslau, who also co-wrote many of their songs. Initially, the vocals were provided by Kayo Shekoni, though Melanie Thornton later became the most recognized voice of the project and performed live with the group.

Le Click gained significant international recognition with their hit single "Tonight Is The Night," which was released in 1995 and became a major success in several countries, particularly in the United States where it peaked in the top 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was a top 5 hit on the Hot Dance Club Play chart. Other notable singles include "Call Me" (1997), which also charted well, and "Don't Go."

Their music typically featured a combination of strong female vocals, pulsating dance beats, synthesizers, and pop melodies characteristic of the Eurodance genre of the era. They released one studio album, Tonight Is The Night, in 1997. Following the success of their singles and album, the group's activity gradually diminished towards the end of the decade, as the Eurodance genre itself began to evolve and decline in mainstream popularity. Melanie Thornton later found success as a lead vocalist for the Eurodance group La Bouche.
