"Lasse redn" (colloquial for standard German "Lass sie reden" — "Let 'em talk") is a song by the German rock band Die Ärzte. It is the fourth track and the third single released from their 2007 album Jazz ist anders. The single was released on 11 April 2008.
The song's lyrics take an optimistic stance toward gossip and rumors, suggesting that what others say does not matter. Musically, it is described as alternative rock, pop rock, and dance-punk, with a simple, catchy melody featuring synth and restrained guitar work.
The music video features actor Martin Klempnow miming the lyrics sung by Farin Urlaub, first in a small room and later on a stage with dancers. Tied-up cooks (parodies of the bondage comics heroine Sweet Gwendoline, the band's mascot) appear on both sides of the stage. The band members themselves appear only briefly as thumbs with clothes and painted faces.
