Langstedt

Langstedt (Danish: Langsted) is a municipality in the district of Schleswig-Flensburg, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

It is located approximately 20 km south of Flensburg and 20 km northwest of Schleswig, situated on the Schleswig Geest along the Treene river. The northern part of the more than 300-acre Büschauer Forst belongs to the municipality.

Langstedt is part of the Amt Eggebek, a collective municipality. As of the fourth quarter of 2024, the population was 1,054, and the area covers 13.19 km² (5.09 sq mi). The current mayor is Jacob Bundtzen.

The municipality has received multiple awards in the German competition Unser Dorf soll schöner werden ("Our village should become more beautiful").
