Lamb of God is the eighth studio album by American heavy metal band Lamb of God. It was released on June 19, 2020, through Epic Records and Nuclear Blast. The album marks the band's first studio album in five years, following 2015's VII: Sturm und Drang. It is also their first album to feature Art Cruz on drums, who replaced Chris Adler in 2019.
The album was initially intended to be self-titled, reflecting the band's desire to create a definitive statement of their sound and identity. The album's recording took place with longtime producer Josh Wilbur.
Several singles were released prior to the album's release, including "Checkmate", "Memento Mori", "Gears", "Routes" (featuring Chuck Billy of Testament), and "New Colossal Hate". The album received generally positive reviews from critics, with many praising its intensity and songwriting.
