La Pallu (French pronunciation: [la paly]) is a commune in the Mayenne department in the Pays de la Loire region of northwestern France.
Geography
La Pallu is located in the arrondissement of Mayenne and the canton of Villaines-la-Juhel. The commune covers an area of 6.65 km² (2.57 sq mi) and has an elevation ranging from 149 to 240 meters (489–787 ft), with an average elevation of approximately 170 meters. The commune is composed of several villages and hamlets, including La Mouffetière, Le Coudray, La Pallu, and Le Boisleux. It is situated within the Normandie-Maine Regional Natural Park.
Demographics
As of 2023, La Pallu had a population of 171 inhabitants, giving it a population density of approximately 25.7 inhabitants per km². The inhabitants are referred to as Paluséens (masculine) and Paluséennes (feminine).
