La Concordia is the municipal seat of the municipality of La Concordia in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. It lies in the Fraylesca region of southern Chiapas at a latitude of 16°07′00″ N and a longitude of 92°41′17″ W, at an elevation of approximately 541 metres (1,776 ft) above sea level.

Geography and Climate
The town is situated on the banks of the Grijalva River, near the La Angostura (Belisario Domínguez) hydroelectric dam. According to the Köppen climate classification, La Concordia experiences a tropical savanna climate (Aw), characterized by a distinct dry season.
