Kyohei Sugiura (杉浦 恭平, Sugiura Kyōhei, born January 11, 1989) is a Japanese professional footballer who primarily plays as a defender. Throughout his career, he has played for several clubs in the J-League system, including V-Varen Nagasaki, Thespakusatsu Gunma, Blaublitz Akita, and FC Imabari.
Early Life and Career Born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, Sugiura developed his football skills through local youth systems. He eventually joined the youth academy of V-Varen Nagasaki, a club based in Nagasaki Prefecture.
Club Career Sugiura's professional career began with V-Varen Nagasaki. He was promoted to the senior squad, and his tenure with the club saw them rise through the J-League divisions. He primarily featured as a central defender but was also capable of playing as a full-back.
Following his time at V-Varen Nagasaki, Sugiura moved to Thespakusatsu Gunma, a club in Gunma Prefecture. His experience and defensive solidity made him a valuable asset to the team.
