Kyle MacLachlan

Kyle MacLachlan (born February 22 1961) is an American actor, director, and producer. He is recognized for his collaborations with filmmaker David Lynch, appearing in the television series Twin Peaks (1990–1991, 2017) as Agent Dale Cooper and in the feature films Dune (1984) and Blue Velvet (1986). MacLachlan’s career spans film, television, and theatre, and he has received multiple awards and nominations for his performances.

Early life and education
Born in Yakima, Washington, MacLachlan is the son of Diane (née Driggers) and Douglas MacLachlan, a former football player and civil engineer. He attended the University of Washington, where he studied theater, and later trained at the Juilliard School’s Drama Division (1979–1983).
