Kuwakonda is a tehsil (administrative subdivision) and the development block headquarters of Dantewada district, in the Bastar Division of the state of Chhattisgarh, India. It is situated on the Dantewada–Hyderabad Road, approximately 24 kilometers from the district headquarters in the town of Dantewada.
