Kulm is a city located in LaMoure County in the U.S. state of North Dakota. It lies in the eastern part of the state, approximately 150 mi east of Bismarck. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city had a population of 147 at the time of the 2020 census.

History
Kulm was platted in 1905 when the Great Northern Railway extended its line through the area. The city was incorporated the following year, in 1906. Its name was derived from the town of Kulm (now Chlumec) in the historic region of Bohemia (present‑day Czech Republic), reflecting the heritage of early European settlers.
