Kristie Ahn

Kristie Ahn (born June 10, 1992) is an American former professional tennis player. She achieved a career‑high singles ranking of world No. 87 on 9 July 2019 and a career‑high doubles ranking of No. 337 on 1 May 2017. Ahn is noted for reaching the fourth round of the 2019 US Open, where she recorded her best Grand Slam performance.

Early life and education
Ahn was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Korean‑American parents. She began playing tennis at a young age and later attended the University of Virginia, where she played collegiate tennis for the Virginia Cavaliers. While at Virginia, she earned All‑ACC honors and was a three‑time All‑American.

Professional career
Ahn turned professional in 2015 after graduating from college. She primarily competed on the ITF Women’s Circuit, capturing several singles titles. In 2019, she qualified for the main draw of the US Open and advanced to the fourth round, defeating higher‑ranked opponents before losing to eventual champion Bianca Andreescu.
