Koronouda

Koronouda (Greek: Κορωνούδα) is a small village located in the Kilkis regional unit of the Central Macedonia region in northern Greece. It forms part of the municipal unit of Kroussa within the municipality of Kilkis.

Geography

  • Coordinates: 40°59′ N 23°00′ E (approximately 40.983° N, 23.000° E).
  • The village lies in the Macedonian geographic region of Greece, at an elevation of about 400 metres above sea level.

Administrative History

  • The settlement was formerly known as Άρμπουρο (Arbouro).
  • Under the 2011 Kallikratis administrative reform, Koronouda became part of the expanded municipality of Kilkis.

Demographics

  • According to the 2021 population census conducted by the Hellenic Statistical Authority, Koronouda had a permanent population of 83 inhabitants.
