Komla Afeke Dumor (26 October 1975 – 18 January 2014) was a Ghanaian journalist and broadcaster, best known for his work as a news presenter on BBC World News and as the host of the programme Focus on Africa.

Born in Accra, Ghana, Dumor began his career with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), where he served as a television news presenter and later as a senior editor. In 2006, he joined the BBC African Service, eventually moving to the BBC World News newsroom in London. At the BBC, he reported on a wide range of African and global issues and became the anchor of Focus on Africa, a flagship programme highlighting African news and perspectives. Dumor’s reporting style combined in‑depth analysis with a personable delivery, earning him recognition across the continent. He died in a road traffic accident in London on 18 January 2014, at the age of 38.
