According to the 2002 national census, the village of Kolari had a population of 1,420 inhabitants. The ethnic composition at that time was overwhelmingly Albanian, with 1,418 individuals identifying as Albanian and 2 as 'other'. The 2021 census recorded a slight increase, with the population rising to 1,607 inhabitants, of whom 1,592 were Albanian and 15 declared as 'other' or unspecified. This demographic pattern reflects the broader ethnic makeup of many villages in the Kičevo region.

History
