Kleiner Auersberg

The Kleiner Auersberg (German for "Little Auersberg") is a prominent peak located in the Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) in the German state of Saxony. Situated within the Vogtlandkreis district, it stands as a lesser-known but distinct neighbor to the higher Großer Auersberg ("Great Auersberg").

Geography

The Kleiner Auersberg reaches an elevation of approximately 808 meters (2,651 feet) above sea level. Its slopes are heavily forested, primarily with spruce, and form part of the scenic Vogtland Nature Park.
