Klaus Beckmann (14 July 1943 – 11 May 1994) was a German politician affiliated with the Free Democratic Party (FDP). He served as a member of the Bundestag from 1976 until his death in 1994, representing the state of Lower Saxony. During the legislative period following German reunification, Beckmann held the position of Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Justice (1990–1994), where he assisted the minister in overseeing the ministry’s legislative and administrative responsibilities. His parliamentary work focused on legal and judicial affairs, as well as on issues pertaining to civil law reform. Beckmann died while in office in 1994.
