Kieran McGeary (born 1994) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for the Pomeroy club and the Tyrone county team. He primarily plays in the left half-back position.
Career
McGeary made his senior inter-county debut for Tyrone in 2016, having previously captained the Tyrone U21 team to an All-Ireland title in 2015 under manager Feargal Logan. He has since become a key figure in the Tyrone senior panel.
In 2021, McGeary played a central role in Tyrone's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship triumph, defeating Mayo in the final. His performances throughout the championship earned him multiple individual accolades. He was named Footballer of the Year by The Sunday Game panel, received his first All-Star Award, and was also named the GAA/GPA Footballer of the Year for 2021.

Personal life
McGeary was born in 1994 and is from Pomeroy, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. His Irish name is Ciarán Mac Gabhra. He works as a Physical Education teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Cookstown. He is also a co-owner and director of the Rusty Keg Bar & Restaurant in Pomeroy. He studied at St Mary's University College, Belfast, where he won a Sigerson Cup in 2017.
