Early Life and College Career

Keshawn Banks attended Riverside Polytechnic High School in Riverside, California. He committed to San Diego State University, where he played college football as a defensive lineman/edge rusher for the Aztecs from 2018 to 2022. During his collegiate career, he was a consistent starter and a key contributor to the Aztecs' defense, known for his pass-rushing abilities and run defense.

Professional Career

After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, Keshawn Banks signed with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent. He competed during training camp and the preseason, demonstrating his skills as an edge rusher. While he did not make the initial 53-man roster, he was subsequently signed to the Commanders' practice squad, where he spent time developing his skills and contributing to the scout team.

Playing Style

Banks is known for his versatility along the defensive front, capable of playing both defensive end and outside linebacker. He possesses good explosiveness off the snap, strong hand usage, and a high motor, making him a disruptive presence in both pass-rushing and run-stopping situations.
