Kempark

Kempark (sometimes spelled Kemp Park) is a small community in Gloucester-Southgate Ward in the south end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Prior to the city's amalgamation in 2001, it was located in the former City of Gloucester.

The community is situated at the south end of Conroy Road where it meets Bank Street, immediately adjacent to the village of Leitrim, Ontario. It lies approximately 12 km south of Downtown Ottawa.

Kempark is a quiet residential neighborhood with a population of roughly 200 people. The area is characterized by suburban housing, including single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments, offering a blend of suburban living with access to urban amenities. The neighborhood is surrounded by green spaces and provides convenient routes to other parts of Ottawa.

The name "Kempark" is believed to derive from "Kemp Park," though the specific origin of the naming is not widely documented.
