Kellie Martin

Kellie Martin (born October 16, 1975) is an American actress and former model. She began her career as a child model and television commercial performer before transitioning to acting. Martin is best known for her role as Sarah Bowman in the television series Life Goes On (1989–1993), where she portrayed a character with Down syndrome. She later starred as Jamie Powell in the series Christy (1994–1995) and as Abby Morris in the teen drama Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1997–1999).

In the 2000s, Martin appeared in several television series and made-for-TV movies, including recurring roles on The Vampire Diaries (2009) as Jo, and Nikita (2010–2011) as Madeline. She also co-starred in the 2008 film The 3rd Party and provided guest appearances on shows such as Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, and Parenthood.

Beyond acting, Martin has been involved in charitable work, supporting organizations focused on children's health and special needs advocacy. She maintains a low public profile and is married to film director Cameron Yeates, with whom she has two children.
