Karl Markovics (born 20 January 1965) is an Austrian actor, director, and screenwriter. He is known for his work in theater, television, and film, both in Austria and internationally.
Early life and education
Markovics was born in Vienna, Austria. He attended the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, where he studied acting, graduating in 1990.
Theatrical career
After completing his studies, Markovics performed with several prominent Austrian theaters, including the Burgtheater and the Theater in der Josefstadt. He gained recognition for his versatility in both classical and contemporary productions.
Film and television
