Kang You-seok (Korean: 강우석; born November 20, 1960) is a prominent South Korean film director and producer. Renowned for his commercially successful and critically acclaimed films, he has played a significant role in the development and popularization of South Korean cinema, often tackling diverse genres ranging from social dramas to thrillers and action films. He is also known for founding the influential production and distribution company Cinema Service.
Career Kang You-seok began his career in the South Korean film industry in the 1980s, gaining recognition for his ability to craft entertaining yet thought-provoking films.
