The lineup was introduced in 2024 following the company's rebranding from Edison Motors, as part of an effort to distance itself from the controversial semi-assembled Chinese bus image associated with its predecessor.

C090
The C090 is a 9-meter electric bus, the first model released under the KGM Commercial C lineup. It was launched in November 2024 and is produced at the Gunsan plant. It is a medium-sized electric bus optimized for urban and suburban routes, offering a compact footprint suitable for navigating congested city streets.

Background
KGM Commercial was formed after KG Group (which owns KG Mobility, formerly SsangYong Motor Company) acquired Edison Motors, an electric bus manufacturer. The KGM Commercial C lineup was developed independently by KGM Commercial to completely break away from the image of Edison Motors, which had been controversial for semi-assembling Chinese buses. A new trademark for the lineup was applied for on April 12, 2024.
As of mid-2024, KGM Commercial reported achieving a total of 300 cumulative contracts for its eco-friendly buses (including 9M and 11M models), representing an increase of about 170% compared to the previous year.
