History
The station was originally assigned the call sign KTXL in 1947. It underwent several call sign changes over the decades, including KTEO (1961–1989), KOJO (1989), KTEO again (1989–1991), and KCRN (1991–2018). The station changed its call sign to KCCE on September 7, 2018.
