Born on December 24, 1975, in Mie Prefecture, Japan, Maeda developed an early interest in writing and music. After graduating from Chukyo University, he initially worked for the visual novel company Tactics, where he was involved in the creation of games such as Moon. and One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e.
