Julla Sæthern

Julla Sæthern (born 29 March 1970) is a former Norwegian handball player. She primarily played as a left back and was a significant member of the Norwegian national handball team during the 1990s, representing her country in major international competitions, including the Olympic Games.

Career Sæthern enjoyed a distinguished club career in Norway, playing for several prominent teams. Among the clubs she represented were Sola HK and Byåsen HE, where her strong performances as a left back were notable. Her consistent play at the club level earned her a place on the national team.

She made her debut for the Norwegian national handball team on 16 November 1990. Throughout her international career, Sæthern earned 114 caps for Norway, scoring a total of 200 goals. She participated in various international tournaments, demonstrating her skill and commitment on the world stage.

A significant highlight of her international career was her participation in the 1996 Summer Olympics held in Atlanta, United States. There, she was part of the Norwegian women's handball team that reached the semi-finals, ultimately finishing in fourth place. She also represented Norway in multiple World Championships and European Championships, contributing to the team's standing in international handball.
