Juana de Aizpuru (born 1933 in Seville, Spain) is a Spanish art gallerist, curator, and cultural promoter. She founded the Galería Juana de Aizpuru in 1970, initially operating the space in Seville before relocating it to Madrid. In 1982, de Aizpuru established ARCO (the International Contemporary Art Fair of Madrid) and served as its first director, an initiative that contributed to the international visibility of contemporary Spanish art.
Her contributions to the arts have been recognized with several official honors, including the Gold Medal for Fine Arts (Medalla de Oro al Mérito en las Bellas Artes) awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. De Aizpuru has been active in supporting emerging artists and organizing exhibitions that have shaped the contemporary art market in Spain.
