Jozef Sládok (born 4 June 1988) is a Slovak professional ice hockey player who plays as a defenceman. He currently plays professionally for HKM Zvolen of the Slovak Extraliga.
Early Life and Career
Sládok was born on 4 June 1988 in Zvolen, Czechoslovakia (present-day Slovakia). He began his junior career with HKm Zvolen's junior team in the 2004–05 season and made his senior debut in the Slovak Extraliga that same year.
Playing Career
Sládok has played for numerous teams across multiple leagues and countries. He played major junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Plymouth Whalers from 2006 to 2008. He also played in the Central Hockey League (CHL) for the Corpus Christi IceRays during the 2008–09 season.
In Europe, Sládok has played in the Slovak Extraliga for HKM Zvolen, HC 07 Detva, and HK Dukla Trenčín. He has also played in the British Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) for the Hull Stingrays and Edinburgh Capitals, as well as in the English Premier Ice Hockey League (EPIHL) for the Romford Raiders and Peterborough Phantoms. Additionally, he played in Finland's Mestis league for HCK.

Standing at 6 ft 5 in (196 cm) and weighing 220 lb (100 kg), Sládok is a physically imposing, defensive defenceman known for his physical play and fighting ability.

International Play
Sládok has not represented Slovakia in major international tournaments.
