Jossias Macamo (full name: André Alberto Jossias Macamo) is a retired professional footballer from Mozambique. Born on 26 January 1976, he played as a midfielder.
Club Career
Macamo began his senior career with CD Costa do Sol in Mozambique, playing for the club from 1997 to 2001. He then moved to South Africa, joining Kaizer Chiefs F.C. from 2001 to 2003, where he wore the number 23 jersey. He made his debut during the Vodacom Challenge, scoring three goals in his first three matches. He later played for Dynamos Giyani (2003–2005) and Moroka Swallows F.C. (2005–2006) before returning to CD Costa do Sol from 2006 to 2008, where he finished his playing career.
International Career
Macamo represented the Mozambique national team from 1997 to 2005, earning 38 caps and scoring 1 goal. While with Kaizer Chiefs, he was called up for the 2002 COSAFA Cup and later for a 2003 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Burkina Faso.
