Johnny Long (American football)

Johnny Long (full name John Anton Long; December 13, 1914 – February 3, 1975) was an American professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago Bears during the 1944 and 1945 seasons.

Early Life and College Long was born in South Orange, New Jersey. He played college football for the Colgate Raiders.

Professional Career Long played for the Chicago Bears, wearing jersey number 33. Over his two-season NFL career, he appeared in 12 games (8 starts).
