John Lamb (American football)

John Lamb is a former American football linebacker who played one season in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Early Life and College Career

John Lamb attended Brigham Young University (BYU), where he played college football as a linebacker from 1976 to 1979. During his tenure with the Cougars, he contributed to the team's defensive efforts.

Professional Career

Lamb was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 10th round (263rd overall) of the 1980 NFL Draft. He began his professional career with the Eagles in the 1980 NFL season, appearing in one regular-season game as a linebacker. His NFL career concluded after that season.
