He worked extensively with musician Leon Russell, performing on records with Leon Russell, Freddie King, Albert King, Willie Nelson, and songwriters Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart. He was a member of the group The Shelter People. His credits include organ, keyboards, and electric piano on Leon Russell's album Carney (1972) and on Freddie King's Texas Cannonball (1972). He also appeared as a musician (organ) in the 1970 television special Leon Russell – Homewood Session. According to a Facebook post from Casey Van Beek and the Tulsa Groove (June 2021), he passed away in an assisted living facility near Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and was buried in Dewey, Oklahoma.
