John Carr (born 26 June 1963) is a former English cricketer. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm off-break bowler, Carr played first-class cricket for Derbyshire and Leicestershire between 1982 and 1995.
Carr made his first-class debut for Derbyshire in 1982, but after limited opportunities moved to Leicestershire in 1984. He enjoyed a more successful period with Leicestershire, becoming a regular member of the side and scoring several centuries. His highest first-class score was 160, made for Leicestershire against Cambridge University in 1987.
Following his professional career, Carr continued to be involved in cricket at the amateur level.
