John Carmody (footballer)

John Carmody (born 1969) is a former Irish Gaelic footballer who played as a midfielder for the Laois senior inter-county team.

Playing Career A native of County Laois, Carmody was a prominent figure in Gaelic football during the 1990s. He was a key member of the Laois senior football team throughout that decade, primarily playing in midfield. Known for his athleticism and strong aerial ability, he was a vital component of the Laois side that competed in the Leinster Senior Football Championship.
