Joe Nagbe

Joe Nagbe (born 9 December 1973 in Monrovia, Liberia) is a former professional footballer who played primarily as a midfielder. Over a career spanning more than two decades, he featured for clubs in Liberia, the Ivory Coast, Belgium, France, Russia, China, and Belgium again, among other nations.

Club career
Nagbe began his senior career with Liberian side Invincible Eleven before moving abroad. He subsequently played for clubs in the Ivory Coast and later joined European teams, notably spending periods in Belgium’s top division. His later years saw him compete in Russia’s Premier League and the Chinese professional leagues before returning to Europe to conclude his playing career.

International career
