Joe Green is an American entrepreneur and investor known for co-founding Causes.com, NationBuilder, and Galvanize.

Green's early entrepreneurial endeavors include Campus Network, a social networking site he conceived as a student at Harvard University before Mark Zuckerberg launched Facebook. Green was asked by Zuckerberg to join Facebook, but his father advised against it due to concerns over copyright infringement issues related to Campus Network, which involved using Harvard's intellectual property.

He subsequently co-founded NationBuilder, a software platform used by political campaigns, non-profit organizations, and other groups for community organizing and engagement. NationBuilder gained prominence for its use by both progressive and conservative organizations.

Green also co-founded Galvanize, a network of technology campuses providing education, workspace, and community for technology companies and entrepreneurs. Galvanize offered immersive courses in data science, web development, and other tech-related fields before being acquired by another company.

Green has been involved in various other ventures and investments, often focusing on technology and social impact. He is generally considered a prominent figure in the tech entrepreneurship scene.
