Joana Castelão (full name: Joana Sofia de Paiva Castelão; born 26 December 1984 in Algés, Oeiras, Portugal) is a Portuguese female sport shooter who competes in Olympic pistol events. She represented Portugal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Career
Castelão began shooting at age 17, introduced by her father, and became a federated athlete in 2001. She earned her first international cap for Portugal in 2002. She competes in the disciplines of 10-metre air pistol and 25-metre sport pistol (also known as "Pistola Sport"). She is a multiple-time national champion and national record holder in both disciplines. She is affiliated with the Clube de Atiradores do Pessoal da PSP (CAPPSP) in Sintra.
Olympic Participation
At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Castelão competed in two events:
- Women's 10-metre air pistol: Finished in 15th place.
- Women's 25-metre pistol: Finished in 33rd place.

Personal Life
Castelão is a pharmacist by profession, having earned an integrated master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Lisbon (2002–2008). She works as an adjoint pharmacist at Farmácia Nifo in Algés. She is married to Luís Martins, a police officer who also practices shooting. She stands 162 cm tall and weighs approximately 56 kg.
