Jinshahu Station (Chinese: 金沙湖站; pinyin: Jīnshāhú Zhàn) is an underground metro station on Line 1 of the Hangzhou Metro in China. It is located in the Qiantang District of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
Location The station is situated beneath Xueyuan Street (学源街) near the intersection with Jinshahu Road (金沙湖路), serving the Jinshahu area, a developing commercial and residential hub within Hangzhou.
History Jinshahu Station opened on November 24, 2012, as part of the inaugural phase of Hangzhou Metro Line 1. It has been a key transportation node for the rapid development of the surrounding district.
Station Layout The station features two side platforms and two tracks, typical for a through-station on the Hangzhou Metro system. It has multiple exits providing access to various points around the Jinshahu urban area, including nearby shopping centers, residential complexes, and the Jinshahu scenic area itself.
Services As part of Line 1, Jinshahu Station connects passengers to other major areas of Hangzhou, including West Lake Cultural Square, Hangzhou East Railway Station, and Xiaoshan International Airport (via interchange).
