Jim Sheridan (born November 24, 1952) is a Scottish Labour Party politician. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Paisley and Renfrewshire North from 2005 to 2015.
Sheridan was a councillor on Renfrewshire Council prior to his election to Parliament. In the House of Commons, he was known for his contributions on issues related to welfare, employment, and social justice. He sat on various select committees during his tenure.
In 2015, Sheridan lost his seat to Mhairi Black of the Scottish National Party. Since leaving Parliament, he has remained active in local politics and commentary.
