Jim Herberich is an American former bobsledder who represented the United States in international competition during the 1980s and 1990s. He is primarily known for competing in three Winter Olympic Games as a pilot.
Herberich participated in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, and the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. He competed in both the two-man and four-man bobsled events. His highest Olympic finish occurred at the 1998 Nagano Games, where he placed seventh in the two-man event.
Before his career in bobsledding, Herberich was a student-athlete at Harvard University, where he competed in track and field. After retiring from active competition, he remained involved in the sport through technical and engineering contributions to sled design and development.
