Jiřice (Nymburk District)
Jiřice is a municipality (Czech: obec) in the Nymburk District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It is situated approximately 7 kilometres (4 miles) north of the district capital Nymburk and 42 kilometres (26 miles) northeast of the national capital Prague.
Geography
The municipality of Jiřice lies within the Central Bohemian Region, characterized by its generally flat to gently rolling agricultural landscape, typical of the Polabí lowlands (Elbe River basin).
