Jerzy Borejsza (1905 – 1971) was a Polish communist activist, journalist, and publishing executive. Born in Warsaw, he became involved in left‑wing politics during the interwar period and joined the Communist Party of Poland (KPP). After World War II, Borejsza held prominent positions in the cultural and publishing sectors of the People's Republic of Poland. He served as the director of the state‑run publishing house Czytelnik, overseeing the production of literature, educational texts, and political works aligned with the ruling Polish United Workers' Party (PZPR). Borejsza was also a member of various party committees and contributed to the development of post‑war Polish cultural policy. He died in Warsaw in 1971.
