Jervonte Edmonds (born c. 1993) is an American politician serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 50th district since 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously represented the 88th district from 2021 to 2022.
Early Life and Education Edmonds was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. He attended Florida A&M University (FAMU), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. During his time at FAMU, he was involved in student government and various community initiatives.
Career Prior to his election to the state legislature, Edmonds developed a career focused on community engagement and public service. He served on the West Palm Beach City Commission, gaining experience in local governance and policy-making. He also worked as a community organizer and advocate, focusing on issues such as education, economic development, and social justice within his district.
Florida House of Representatives Edmonds was first elected to the Florida House of Representatives in a special election in 2021 to represent the 88th district.
