Jerry Stiller (June 8 1941 – May 11 2020) was an American actor and comedian, best known for his roles in television sitcoms and for his long-standing partnership in the comedy duo Stiller and Meara with his wife, Anne Meara.
Early Life and Education
Jerry Stiller was born Jerome Allen Stiller in Brooklyn, New York, to Jewish parents, Bella (née Frump) and William Stiller, a garment salesman. He attended Midwood High School, where he met future comedy partner Anne Meara. Stiller briefly attended Brooklyn College before dropping out to pursue a career in entertainment.
